Since a few years Tel Aviv is becoming a key city in the jewelry design world. I often “discover” some designers at the international fairs and I am always intrigued by their original and vibrant creativity.
One of them is certainly Ayala Bar, a great and talented interpreter of fashion jewlery. Her love for detail, the great material mix and match, the color palettes, that special talent into seizing the subtle suggestions…all contributes to make her an eclectic and fascinating artist.
The designer lives and works in Tel Aviv and her collection Hip for l’A/W 2015 represents a magical and mysterious flair. She is unique in getting the positive energy she feels from natural elements and she is great at mixing different materials playing with color ranges and shades.
I love the contrast she creates between the “folk” look and the refinement of materials and her chromatic choices: her collections nicely fit into the season trends. Ayala Bar’s art can be summarized in her creative research, charming hence fitting to any cultural and social identity.
