Marta Paolillo was born in a family of jewelers: her father was a diamond and precious stones dealer, her mother a designer. Spontaneously Marta chooses to work into this world, first of all by graduating as gemmologist at GIA in New York and then, after an important “training” with her father , she starts to design her own line, conjugating the precious stones knoledge with the skills of Roman jewelry makers creating her contemporary collection, targetting the modern woman.
Jaipur was inspired by the the magic colors and atmosphere of Indian Marajas. Small calligraphy signs that are reminescent of Henna tatoos, made precious by white and black diamonds.
Labyrinth, the structure and geometry, black and white diamonds, ruthenium and gold plating.
Ribbon, Inspired by rhythmic gymnastic ribbon, soft, curvilinear lines, lightness and preciousness balanced together.
Wire, fine and light strands of diamonds, creating continuous twinkling and shimmering.
Snake, the snake, Marta’s signature. A triumph of light and preciousness, the metamorphosis of the designer’s “iconic symbol”.
