NIÚ and the project “Trains to Tozeur”
This project starts with a journey to Africa looking for inspiration and it is now a collection for Spring/Summer 2015.
If inspiration was the first challenge, this journey to Kenya has also ment a passion for this country and its people. The wish to work with these populations, using recycled materials made new by the these women’s hands has given birth to an accessories collection: jewelry, handnbags, embroideries, shoes.
NIÚ has given to her local workers a job and indipendence, a bond with marvellous people able to create new ideas and products by cutting, sawing , embroidering and so on…
