Nuove aperture: La boutique Nathalie Jean a Milano

Nathalie Jean, a wonderful jewelry designer- an essential but at the same time special and appealing style – has just opened her first boutique in the heart of Brera, Milan,  in Via Solferino, 48.

I met Nathalie a few years ago for a project for Swarovski. Working with her has been extremely interesting, her aesthetic sense, her “architect eye” and her exuberance make her a special person and designer, a great personality in  the international jewelry arena.

Her fist boutique is a precious small world, the right set up for her creations. Nathalie has personally designed the interior and has come up with a special concept of showcases that follow the history of her collections that have important and special names: Saphir, Informe, Mercure, Suite Birmane, Babel, just to name a few.

Her inspiration comes from travelling, nature, her readings, the unexpected landscapes and objects. Nathalie loves to draw by hand but she works only in 2D and personally conceives the construction of her jewelry with the careful attention that comes from her architectural background.

Nathalie comes from Canada but she lives in Milan since 20 years Her initial studies and working experience were in architecture. Thanks to these experience, where she worked with any scale and dimension (starting from skyscrapers), she realized what she was meant to create: jewelry that, as she says, is miniature architecture to be worn.

From 1998, her collections were presented at 10.Cso Como and at Galleria Nilufar in Milan, at Donna Karan Flagship store in New York, at Adelaide in Tokyo, at Ronce Noire Gallery in  Paris. Since March you can find her jewelry at her Milan boutique in Via Solferino, 48 from Tuesday to Saturday from 12,30 to 20,30 on appoinent at335 6089602 – 02 62086089.

“All my creations are handmade in my laboratory in Milan, unique pieces, limited editions or small productions, all inspired by my clients that need to feel special.”
