Yes it’s true !…Tory Burch just opened her flagship in Milan, in Via Spiga, 7..I was really looking forward that my favourite designer would come to our city.
Tory Burch started to be known to the public in 2004 by opening a small boutique in Nolita, a Manhattan downtown area. Her classic sense of aesthetics with a bohemian twist, immediately conquered the trend setters. I have seen and bought for the first time her Reva ballerina shoes in New York, I remember at the time all girls were wearing them..I couldn’t resist ! In the last ten years, the brand has expanded to international level and it now counts 140 boutiques around the world.
I had the chance to visit her boutiques at the Village, in Asia, in Rome and now finally here is her flagship in Milan: roughly 450 square meters on two levels, to get crazy! Santa Claus, who knows my taste, has already left a few Tory Burch gifts under my Christmas tree.
To celebrate the opening in Via Spiga, the designer has pubblished a book “Tory Burch-In colors” where she tells her story using the colors that characterized each single moment of her life and carreer.It is really great to find in this pubblication so much passion, enthusiasm and good taste; facets of style hence simply refined. I really hope to be able to meet Mrs Burch when she personally comes to Italy in March! (Here the link to her website)
